Frank and “Stella” Ziska. These two lovebirds are my great-grandparents, parents of Katherine Lillian, mother of my father. Got that? They both emigrated to the USA from Bohemia in the 1880’s. He was a carpenter and they lived either next door or right down the street from my grandparents, Albert and Lillian Marous. Her given name was Anastasia Kuhar (November 11, 1867 — March 24, 1940).
